FANS CAN PERSONALLY MEET BASS PROS IN CENTRAL FLORIDA

Holiday Chevrolet Olds in St. Cloud, Florida to Host

During the week of January 15th, hundreds of tournament hopefuls will descend on Lake Toho to compete in the BASSMASTER Top 150 tournament sanctioned by the Bass Anglers Sportsmen's Society. Competition will be fierce as the top anglers in the country try their best to take home a share of more than 431 thousand dollars in cash and prizes.

Among those who make up the field will be members of the Chevy Truck Pro Staff. This elite group consists of some of the most well known names in the sport and it is a good bet that at least a couple of them will finish high on the money list.

On Wednesday night January 17, 2001, you will have a chance to meet the pros and talk to them personally. Pro Staff members: Tommy Biffle, David Fritts, Tom Mann, Jr., Larry Nixon, Kim Stricker and Kevin VanDam, as well as Jimmy Houston of the long running ESPN fishing show "Jimmy Houston Outdoors" and Denny Brauer of ESPN's "Bass Class" will gather at Holiday Chevrolet Olds in St. Cloud, Florida for "Meet the Pro Night". From 6:00 pm until 8:00 pm, these top name pros will be available for autographs andfishing tips. It is a great chance to interact with some of the top figures in bass fishing and get to know them a little.

The pros will have their tournament rigged Chevy Suburbans on displayand will be glad to discuss trailering and safety tips with you. They all drive more than 50,000 miles a year on the tournament trail pulling heavy bass boats under all kinds of driving conditions. As a result, they get more trailering experience yearly than many of us in a lifetime.

So mark your calendar now for Wednesday night January 17, 2001 from 6:00 pm to 8:00 pm. Invite a friend and plan to come early. You don't get these opportunities often and you can bet there'll be a crowd. If you are lucky, you might even win one of the 12 door prizes that will be given away starting at 6:30.

P.S. Bring the kids along. They are sure to love it.
