Parker's First Crappie
Saturday, I took my oldest grandson, Parker, who is three years old, on his
first fishing expedition. He caught three crappie before he became more
interested in other things besides fishing Here is a picture of him with
his first catch.

We were fishing at Thomas Creek along with my brother Jeff and Randal. While we were fishing, it dawned on me that Parker represented the fifth generation of our family to have fished on this creek now. I think that is pretty awesome! My grandfather fished there, my father, me, my daughter, and now her son, have all fished and caught crappie on Thomas Creek.
