WORLD CHAMPIONSHIP FISHING 2000
MONROE, LOUISIANA
FORSYTHE POINT PARK
AUGUST 4, 5, 6, 2000

TOURNAMENT WATERS: The tournament waters for this tournament will be as follows:

Friday, August 4th: Lake D'Arbonne
Saturday, August 5th: Caney Creek Lake
Sunday, August 6th: Ouachita River

All rivers, creeks and canals connecting to the above named tournament
waters are included except as noted.

Any water within these boundaries posted Off-Limits or No Fishing by State
or Federal Agencies will be Off-Limits. Also, the live-bass-release area
established by the Director of Competition will be Off-Limits and will be
announced at the Tournament Briefing.

Only that water open to ALL public fishing will be considered tournament
waters. Any waters closed to public fishing will be closed to this
tournament's contestants.

TOURNAMENT WATER OFF-LIMITS DATES: July 1-31, 2000

OFFICIAL THREE-DAY PRACTICE: Beginning Tuesday, August 1, 2000 through
Thursday, August 3, 2000.

WEIGH-IN/POWER BOATING HEADQUARTERS: Forsythe Point Park, 2401 Sycamore
Street, Monroe, Louisiana, 71201.
How It Works: The Friday through Sunday competition and outdoor
celebration is free to the public and each day will consist of a morning
round of bass fishing, a mid-day weigh-in, followed by a pit row experience
and then an afternoon boating skills competition. Drivers will navigate an
obstacle course that emphasizes boat-handling ability. Only one boat at a
time will be allowed on the closed course, with the object being to clock
the quickest time. The course will test maneuvering and agility rather than
top-end speeds. The pit row experience will allow anglers to interact with
the crowd, giving the fans a chance to meet their angling heroes.
