More on Monster Bass - Last week I linked to a picture
of Bryan McBride and his 15 pound 13 ounce bass caught on December
10th. That bass came from a private lake in Lamar County, Ga - about 50
miles south of Atlanta. Only about 5 people have permission to fish there.
He caught the bass on a shiner netted in the lake. The shiner was rigged
on a 3/0 Kahale hook and was fished in water about 14 feet deep. Bryan
was using a Diawia baitcasting outfit loaded with 14 pound Fireline

Tip of the Week - Check the drag settings on your reels - always
make sure the drag will slip on your reels, especially when fishing for
strong fighting fish like hybrids. You should release the drag after each
trip and re-set it when going again. If you don't, it will stick and not
slip when you need it. Make sure you check it before each trip. Don't lose
that big one right by the boat because your drag lets is pop the line.

Right Click Trick - Having trouble bookmarking a site you find through
The Mining Co because the URL doesn't show? This is a problem with
frames. Right click your mouse and the page url you are viewing should
show. Then you can copy it and book mark it. Sorry for the trouble.
