Covers most all the problems of night fishing, good article. I can especially relate to the “no clutter” concept in the boat.

I gotta try that no clutter thing – can’t move around much in my boat and it would be better at night not to trip over everything!

Try a small crankbait under any dock lights. Fish a black spinnerbait slowly around grass beds. Fish a big black jitterbug over grass slowly. Work an unweighted black worm along grass edges. All should work.

i think that the best way to catch bass effectivly is to work the topwater near boatdocks. if the dock has lights on all night then thats the best. try glow in the dark topwaters and jigs. jitter bugs work best also try buzzers with a glowing trailer bait

My first choice at night is to fish rocks – crayfish lived in them and come out at night. Try a Texas rigged worm or a light jig and pig. If there are no rocks look for any kind of cover or structure – often a 1 foot drop on the bottom will hold fish. Always look for cover and structure, whatever kind is in your lake.

Good luck – let us know how you do.
