KVD
- Kevin is like the John Elway of bass fishing to me, He is always in striking distance on the last day , and has made a lot of comeback wins like Elway used to do.... and crush the dreams of the competition in the final minutes.

The best fisherman
- Kevin Vandam by far is the best fisherman of the decade. He is the most consistant in various situations and all parts of the country. He is also relentless in his style of fishing covering vasts amount of water with his run and gun style. I think he will be hard to beat for some time to come. All this puts him in a class by himself.

KVD
- KVD has been the best of the best in this first decade of 21st century. There are a lot of very good anglers on the tours, but there is only one KVD.
