Dave Mereski says: The fish in the picture was caught on the Bow River, about 1 hour SE of Calgary, Alberta. It is a rainbow trout about 21-22" in length. I caught it on a 6 wht. rod with a 5X tippet. I think I got this one on a soft hackle emerger. Fairly light gear for the fighters these fish are. It took me about 20 minuites to land it with such a light tippet.
