Grilled Dill Salmon

Cooking a salmon filet on a cedar board after rubbing it with garlic dill sauce makes a fantastic meal.

Cook Time: 0 hours, 25 minutes

Ingredients:

  • Salmon Filet - 2 to 3 pounds with skin on
  • Four minced garlic cloves
  • 1/4 cup minced fresh dill
  • 6 Tablespoons olive oil
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 1 teaspoon pepper

Preparation:

Soak a cedar plank big enough to hold the filet in water for several hours. Place it on grill away from direct heat until it smokes. Mince garlic and dill, combine with oil, salt and pepper. Score filet through meat to skin. Rub oil and spice mixture on filet and in scores. Place filet skin side down on the board in the grill. Cook until meat in thickest part of filet flakes easily.
