Guide Review - Lowrance HD 10 Depthfinder Review
These depthfinders are amazing. They show great detail, you can use the GPS, Structure Scan which is almost like having an under water campera on either down scan or side scan, and a regular deptfinder. You can split the screen into two, three or four windows.
The Structure Scan lets you see cover and structure almost like looking at it with a camera. Every limb on a brush pile or tree shows up and looks like a limb. And fish in it or beside it are easy to identify.
At a recent tournament I went over a brush pile in 12 feet of water. On the depthfinder screen it looked like a big blog, with something near it. On the structure scan it was very plain it was a man made brush pile with fish holding out in front of it. I turned around and cast in front of the brush and landed a keeper bass, filling my limit on a very tough fishing day.
