Brian Knippers With His Best Bass Ever

Fish Caught between 9:00-9:15pm on Pawtuckaway Lake on a Chompers Rubber Worm, Natural Color

When I first felt my line go taut I thought I was stuck on a log and pulled my pole towards me as hard as I could and the log started to swim away. I released it for another fisherman to catch. The fish is swimming around fine waiting to be caught again

I wanted to share a couple photos with you. This is the largest bass I have ever caught. It was around 9:00-9:15pm and I was fishing with a Chompers Rubber Worm. When I first felt my line go taut I thought I was stuck on a log. I actually pulled my pole towards me as hard as I could to try and get my hook unstuck. Then the log started to swim away. I fought the fish for three or four minutes before I finally managed to haul it into the boat. We weighed it with my friends X-Tools Digital Scale and it came in at 6lbs 3oz. I released it back into Pawtuckaway for another fisherman to catch. Fortunately I lip hooked it so there was no damage to the soft tissue. I am sure the fish is swimming around fine waiting to be caught again as I write this.
