Early Times Whiskey sponsored a "Reel In A Million" bass fishing contest in 2007. Anyone 21 years old or over could enter the "Reel In A Million" contest and be entered into a drawing to fish for a million dollar bass.

Marko Trbovic from Lindenhurst, Illinois was the lucky angler chosen to fish with Early Times pro bass angler Kevin Wirth on Lake Lanier. On Thursday before they fished 25 bass were tagged and released back into the 38,000 acre Georgia lake. One of them had a tag worth a million, one had a tag worth a Triton bass boat and others were worth from $500 worth of tackle and up.

Marko and Kevin fished hard and they caught a good many nice spotted bass, but not one of the tagged ones.

"It was a great trip and I had a good time," Marko said. Although he did not win the big prize, he did get to spend the day in the boat with one of pro fishing's top anglers.

Early Times sponsors several different kinds of fishing contest. They are fun, and as Marko will tell you, everyone has a chance to win.
