Jeffrey Abbott from Winter Springs, Florida has won the 2008 Early Times Whisky Reel In A Million Contest. He won the drawing to fish for a tagged bass on J. Percy Priest Lake on May 31, 2008. Twenty-five tagged bass will be released into the lake the week before Jeffrey fishes with bass professional Kevin Wirth. One of the tagged bass is worth one million dollars.
Jeffery and Kevin will fish for eight hours and if either one of them catches a tagged bass Jeffery will win the matching prize. Prizes range from the big one worth one million dollars to a Triton bass boat to fishing gear from Pure Fishing.
“Everyone at Early Times is thrilled to have Jeffrey as our sweepstakes winner and hope there is a happy ending to his million dollar day on the water,” said Joe Murray, Brand Manager for Early Times Kentucky Whisky.
“I want to thank Early Times for giving me this once in a lifetime opportunity to fish with a professional angler and have the chance to win a million dollars,” said Abbott. “I am really looking forward to spending the day on the lake with Kevin and bringing home the million dollar fish.”
Jeffery will get an all expense paid trip to Nashville and a custom rod and reel as well as tackle box from Early Times. Just getting a chance to fish with Kevn Wirth for a day would be a great prize.
Last year's contest winner fished at Lake Lanier in Georgia.
