Fishing bass this week has been great with artificial or shiners. There were still some fish on beds by Whaleys Landing and the west side of the lake across from Reds Fish Camp.
With them dropping the water out of West Lake, the bass are moving to open water and the outer edge of the reed and grass line. The boat cuts are excellent places to fish shiners. Fish in the open water over hydrilla are taking rattle traps and area also hitting top water baits early and late.
I feel great. A fellow fisherman wrote an email and told me thanks, that they won a tournament because of my advise. I will always give an honest report that you can count on.
Look for the yellow markers on Toho, they have planted orange trees. This will give the lake a good structure.
Till next week,
