Bragging Board

   Zach Winter's First Fish

We were fishing at a small reservoir near Farmville, VA on an overcast Sunday in August of this year.  On our second cast of the day, Zach caught his first fish, the feisty little bluegill shown here.

After the celebrating, we called Mom on the cell phone and then Grandpa to share the news.  Once that was done, we drifted down shore about 30 yards when the bobber disappeared and Zach reeled in (with a little help from Dad) the 5 lb. catfish shown in the net.  What a great day,  he caught 12 fish that day! He has been with me many more times since and has yet to be shut-out.  Looks like I've got a fishing buddy for life!
