This 17.5 inch, 2 lb. 7 oz. smallmouth earned me the big fish award at the 2002 North Woods Classic in Rhinelander, Wisconsin. It hit a Zoom 4 inch Dead Ringer on a Carolina Rig in about 10 feet of water and was the only keeper I had in two days. It was good for 5th place in the two day tournament, too.
