My First Smallmouth - and others from the Wisconsin trip
Part 1 - ROFB NWC
My first smallmouth. It hit the Baby Brush Hog by a stump on this flat
covered with grass and stumps on Boom Lake in Rhinelander, Wisconsin. The
12 inch fish did not fight real hard since it was on my heaviest worm rod and 15
pound PLine.

Smallmouth I caught the second day of the ROFB NWC - It weighed 2.2 on Steve's tournament scales, 2-12 on my digital scales. It and the two pounder I caught the first day (2-8 on my scales) won the tournament for me. Behind me you can see Gill with the big fish of the tournament, a 3 pounder - on their scales. Steve is the gray headed guy beside me with his back to the camera.

Another shot of my smallmouth from day two of the ROFB NWC - Gill in the
background is about to get out his big fish of the tournament. Jerry is
wandering around by his truck, wondering where the rest of his prop went.
