DATE: 6-12-00 LAKE LEVEL: 561.7 WATER CLARITY: Decent SURFACE TEMP.: 93*F

CRAPPIE: A few crappie continue to be caught under piers and in brushpiles.Night fishing under lights seem to be doing better with minnows on channel edges 10-15ft deep.

BASS: Bass fishing seems to be doing well. Early top water baits and as the day heats up try deep running crank baits and slow rolling spinner baits off deeper points, ledges, river channels and underwater islands. Also carolina rig worms and lizards.Anything with green seems to be doing best.Last weekends bass tournament was won with 5 fish weighing 17-18lbs.

BREAM: Catching a ton of bream on wax worms, crickets and red worms.Amazingly we are catching some nice bream for Weiss Lake.

STRIPE: Catching stripe on live shad or bream in deep water on channel edges, humps, and drops.

CARP: Great time to shoot carp with bow and arrows in shallow waters.Come and get all you want.

CATFISH: Large numbers of catfish continue to be caught.Try using chicken livers, night crawlers or cut bait on channel edges and piers at night.

    GOOD FISHING TO ALL!!
