Montie Walters on Lake Sinclair
Dateline: 7/26/99
Montie Walters placed 2nd in the Red Man All American this year. Lake Sinclair is his "home" lake and he has done well there in tournaments, placeing 4th in a Everstart in June, 1998, winning a Red Man the next week,a nd then placing second two months later in another Red Man there. He took me fishing to show me some holes for a September Georgia Outdoor News article.
Montie caught this bass on a spinnerbait up a creek. This is his early pattern to get a kicker bass or two in a tournament.

We then moved out onto the main lake to catch some schooling bass on crankbaits. Thi sis how he fills out his limit in a tournament. Note the GON cameraman on the right. We filmed this trip for the GON-TV.
