I Love Fishing!

I have loved fishing since my mother and grandmother took me as a child. Fishing for bream on the beds or bass on top, and just about anything else that will stretch your string, gives me a thrill. A meal of fresh fish after a trip can be a bonus.
Most of my holidays are spent on the water. Although I have favorite lures, I will throw anything the fish will bite! Recording all my catches in a log helps catch more the next time I go, and reviewing it brings back good memories. And trips with special people, as well as favorite pets, also make good memories. Thinking back about different boats and trips in them is also a nice way to spend time reminiscing.
Animals add to fishing trips. Snakes can be exciting, and deer and beaver add to the beauty of fishing.
Bass fishing is probably my favorite, and I am a member of two clubs and fish some tournaments. There are many kinds of fishing I want to try, from ice fishing to salmon fishing. Writing magazine articles gives me a chance to meet some nice people, and I meet some great folks from this site! I get to share their worst days and their best days. And some guides and pro fishermen share their tips and expertise with me and others who visit here. Sharing techniques and memories really adds to the fun of fishing, and taking kids fishing is always special.
Sharing information on this site in a newsletter, chat room and message board also add to the pleasure of fishing. And posting your pictures here lets you share your successes.
