Monday morning Jack and Francis headed home and I took Ben and Eric out while Donnie and MtMan fished. We went to the rocky point where I had caught the 4-7 the day before and Ben caught a bass weighing 3-7 on his first cast. Eric was good with the net again and they landed the fish while I took pictures.

We fished hard the rest of the morning and I caught a bass weighing 2-14 just before we headed in. It was kinda slow for Donnie and Jim, too. We did see a bald eagle sitting on a dead tree and it left the fish it was eating when we got too close.

After lunch Donnie loaded up and headed back to South Carolina. Eric, Ben and I went out and fished for a couple of hours but didn't do much, so we came in and went to the dock. Jim joined us and showed us how Canadians catch fish! He landed a nice 2 pound channel cat and several bream while Eric and Ben tried to catch something.

I took the boat out and went back to the trailer. Jim joined me a little later and then Eric and Ben came over - Ben had caught a small channel cat. We fried the rest of the fish Al had brought for supper. Eric actually spoke a full sentence at supper, his first of the weekend, I think. After we ate Eric and Ben went back to the dock but didn't have any luck

Tuesday morning we got up and loaded my truck. It was an interesting ride to the Atlanta airport and through it twice pulling my boat! I had to go to both terminals to let Jim out at one and Eric and Ben out at the other. I was back home by 11:00 AM!

It was a great weekend and I enjoyed meeting everyone in person. We are already talking about having another get-together next year and Lip has said he might host us at his place in North Carolina. I can't wait!
