"Good to see the pic's, especially the one with the gang together. Thanks for taking a distant shot...seeing all those mugs up close would have been to much...:)"

Saturday morning Al woke me up again, this time walking across the porch!  Al, JimH and MtMan all fished out of Al's boat, Chris and Donnie paired up again and Jack and I headed out in my boat.  That left three boats on the bank. We were well prepared for more folks!

From 8 to noon Jack and I tried a variety of tactics, but the only thing that worked was fishing Carolina rigs back in pockets and creeks.  When we came in to eat lunch, I decided to take a nap since I had been woke up so early both mornings - and I slept 3 hours!  Jack went back out and the others fished that afternoon but nobody caught much.

Jim from Canada had the best catch that afternoon, I think!  We heard Terry got a five pounder that morning on a buzz bait in his tournament and also caught another good fish.  That was the best report we got about Saturday.

We all met at TJ Outriggers for a great meal - all you can eat seafood.  They even had crawfish on the buffet!  We waddled out and everybody headed back to the trailer to meet Eric and Ben.  Linda  had picked them up at the airport and they got to the lake at about 9:00 that night.  The two boys were fishing off my boat when we got there and it was hard to get them to say anything.  When the crowd headed back to town, Eric, Ben and I put out some more catfish food.

Sunday morning everybody got up fairly early and JimH and Chris headed back to North Carolina.  We paired up - Eric went out with me, Al took MtMan, Donnie took Ben and Jack fished out of his boat.  Eric and I headed in at noon after catching a couple of small bass and I stopped on a rocky point with wind blowing across it.  My first cast to it produced a 4 pound seven ounce bass, my biggest of the trip.

At the trailer we found Kevin and his wife had stopped by after the Georgia Outdoor Writers conference.  After pictures of my bass and some lunch, Eric moved over to Jack's boat and I took Kevin and his wife out.  As we headed out we saw Donnie and Ben coming in - they had caught a bunch of bass on crankbaits on windy points and in coves with mudlines.

We started fishing those places and I had my best afternoon, catching a 4-1 and two  more bass over three pounds each.  I also got a 2 pound white bass and a yellow perch!  Kevin managed to catch a bass out of the back of my boat, too!

When we came in Al had headed home.  The had a good day, Al had caught 10 bass and MtMan had added several more to their catch.

That night we grilled deerburgers and Donnie ate one!  After supper the boys went over to the docks and fished for catfish and carp without any luck.  I had been putting out catfish food morning and night hoping to bring them in.  I headed to bed pretty early.
