Fishing Videos
Video tapes on fishing can inform and entertain you. They are available on a huge variety of topics, and are cheap enough to buy to watch over and over. Some are for rent at various stores, and you may be able to convince a rental store to buy some if you can get enough fishermen to request them. Then you can rent then cheaply and enjoy them one time.
Many of the TV fishing shows are available on tape. If you like Bill Dance, you can order some of his shows to study in detail. For example, one tape contains lure tips on fishing crankbaits, spinnergbaits and Carolina rigs from three different shows. He will entertain you and make you laugh with the bloopers tapes, three videos showing outtakes from the show. Ice fishermen will get more of a laugh than instruction from a tape on building a ice shack with a celeberity.
For the walleye fisherman, In Fisherman offers a tape on catching big walleye. In Fisherman is another instructional show on TV and there area many other tapes from them. Even Homer Circle gets in on the act with a tape sharing his tips for catching a variety of fish. And for the kids, a video aimed at them teaches basics from knot tying to casting.
For trout fishermen, a set of tapes shows various rivers all over the US and how to fish them. And for beautiful scenery, how about a trip to Alaska to catch troug, salmon and halibut?
These tapes and more are available through my video store. Order some or visit your local rental store and check them out. Either way, video tapes are an enjoyable way to spend some time, and you may even learn something!
