The Truth About Being A Bass Fisherman's Wife
Written from the perspective of a long suffering bass fisherman's wife, this book will keep you grinning or grimacing, depending on which you are. It is funny but almost too insightful in some cases - it hits too close to home!
From the opening page on how sleeping in with your husband is a thing of the past to the last chapter where Aris assures other bass fishermen's wives they are not alone, the book is a quick read of 41 pages and proves she knows of which she speaks! It seems to reflect the changes that took place in my life as I became more and more obsessed with bass fishing, and Linda would agree with much of what is said!
With chapter titles like "The Night Before a Tournament," "Seduction of a Bass Fisherman," and The Lost Holidays", all of which sound way too familiar, this book will give a young woman a good idea of what is to come if she marries a fisherman.
Aris proves she has kept her humor over the years as her husband became a bass fisherman, and we are lucky she shared her thoughts with us in this book.
