Bass Tactics - "How You Can Catch More and Bigger Bass"
by Larry Larsen

Mr. Larsen presents a "how-to" book on bass fishing that covers everything from the basics to detailed solutions of problems. From fishing different types of cover to finding underfished bass hotspots, this book provides the bass fisherman with help finding and catching his quarry.

Each chapter of Mr. Larsen's book examines a different problem in bass fishing. He discusses the various causes of fish behavior during each example, and then gives ways to overcome poor fishing conditions and catch fish. The text is very detailed but the drawings included that show everything from preferred boat position to the fish's likely location are a great help.

Mr. Larsen has written about bass fishing for over 20 years for many national and regional magazines. He is the Florida editor for Outdoor Life and has also written several books on bass fishing. Studying bass on an almost daily basis all over their habitat has given him insights into their habits that it takes a lifetime of learning to achieve. His writing experience allows him to share them with the reader in easily understood text and graphics.

Bass Techniques is a good quick reference with the chapter titles allowing you to find a solution to a current problem, but also gives you the opportunity to learn new approaches to catching bass if you read the whole book. Reading ahead will prepare you to adjust to changing conditions under actual fishing conditions.

From beginner to expert, every bass fisherman will find useful information in this book. Even if you are not a bass fisherman but you fish for anything that will bite, including bass, you will be able to catch more fish by understanding their nature from reading this book.

Mr. Larsen's depth of knowledge of bass shows through in every chapter of this book, and his writing skills make it easy to read, interpret and then put that information to use . It is one of the top bass fishing techniques books available.
