Joke for this Week - A wife asks her husband, "Honey, if I
died, would you remarry?" "After a considerable period of grieving,
I guess I would. We all need companionship." "If I died and you
remarried," the wife asks, "would she live in this house?"
"We've spent a lot of money getting this house just the way we want
it. I'm not going to get rid of my house. I guess she would." "If
I died and you remarried, and she lived in this house," the wife asks,
"would she sleep in our bed?" "Well, the bed is brand new,
and it cost us $2,000. It's going to last a long time, so I guess she would."
"If I died and you remarried, and she lived in this house and slept
in our bed, would she use my golf clubs?" "Oh, no," the
husband replies. "She's left-handed."

Tip of the Week - Watch for mayfly hatches and take advantage of
them. Last Saturday at Bartlett's Ferry Lake, every bush on the bank was
black with bugs. Shaking the bush would send thousands of mayflies into
the air - and water! The bream would almost turn over the boat hitting
them. A small spinner or plug would get hit immediately, and I am sure
a fake mayfly on a flyrod would work evern better. Watch for hatches and
take advantage of them!

Message Boards - You will have to re-register for the new boards.
If you sign up to join, you should be registered for the new boards. If
you have problems, let me know.
Every visit to the Freshwater Fishing Board - http://fishing.about.com/mpboards.htm - during the week is eligible for a prize. Each Monday I will put every visitor's name from one Sunday NOON to the next in a 'hat' and draw one as the winner. Every log-in will be counted as one visit, so the more times you visit the board, the more chances you have to win! The winner will be notified by email and posted here. There will be one winner per week.
This contest is, of course, an unabashed attempt to get people to use my boards! The only requirement is that posts must be related to fishing. The board is for fishing info so ask a real question, respond with an answer you know, or post information about a trip you took. They can be original posts or responses to posts. All the details and a list of past winners can be found at http://fishing.about.com/library/weekly/blboardcontest.htm
6/27/99 through 7/4/99 - Prize this week,
A Rat-L-Trap and a pack of Gary Yamamoto Crawdads, donated by them.Visit
