Tip of the Week - Vary your retreive - try buzzing your crankbait
or spinnerbait if the bass don't want a slow retreive. Pump your plastic
worm or jig and pig high off the bottom rather than crawling it. Do something
different to get their attention.

This contest is, of course, an unabashed attempt to get people to use my boards! The only requirement is that posts must be related to fishing. The board is for fishing info so ask a real question, respond with an answer you know, or post information about a trip you took. They can be original posts or responses to posts. 9/14/98 through 9/21/98 - Prize - A Curb's
smallmouth and spotted bass jig and two Granddaddy's bucktail jigs. Granddaddy's
jigs are not on the market yet but you can get Curb's jigs by contacting
him at curb@lakemartin.net. They
are rubber leg jigs suitable for jig and pig fishing and cost $6.00 per
dozen!
