This Week's Feature: -Bedding Bass-
http://fishing.about.com/library/weekly/aa980420.htm - When bass
are on the bed they can be caught but it is sometimes tough.
=======================================
Tip of the Week - Last Sunday at Lanier I lost a bunch of fish on
trick worms. They would hit, I would set the hook and they would get off.
When we weighed in another fisherman said he had same problem and rigged
his worm with an exposed hook and started catching them. He weighed in four
that weighed almost ten pounds, including big fish at over five pounds. I
had three at four pounds. Tip - Be flexible - if you are missing fish, change
your rig!

Fishtale This Week: Spring Walleye at Lake of the Woods
-http://fishing.about.com/library/weekly/bl980420.htm - Tips
on catching early spring walleye, with a picture showing how big they grow!
======================================
Message Boards - My boards don't get much traffic - even with a contest!
Is there something you don't like about them or some other problem? Let me
know.
Every post to the Freshwater Fishing Board - http://fishing.about.com/mpboards.htm - during the week is eligible for a prize. Each Monday I will put every post from one Sunday midnight to the next in a "hat" and draw one as the winner. The winner will be notified by email and posted here. There will be one winner per week.
This contest is, of course, an unabashed attempt to get people to use my boards! The only requirement is that posts must be related to fishing. The board is for fishing info so ask a real question, respond with an answer you know, or post information about a trip you took. They can be original posts or responses to posts. I will use the "Show Post from 1 week" button to select the posts for the contest. All the details and a list of past winners can be found at http://fishing.about.com/library/weekly/blboardcontest.htm
4/20/98 through 4/27/98 - Prize - Lures includie
a Rattle Trap (Donated by Berry's Sporting Goods in Griffin, GA) and a Shadrap.
======================================
Joke for this Week - More actual statements made during court cases:
Lawyer: How do you feel about defense attorneys? Juror: I think they should
all be drowned at birth. Lawyer: Well, then, you are obviously biased for
the prosecution. Juror: That's not true. I think prosecutors should be drowned
at birth too.
======================================
Thought for the Week - Everyone has a photographic memory. Some don't
have film.
======================================
Right Click Trick - Having trouble bookmarking a site you find through
The Mining Company because the URL doesn't show? This is a problem with
frames. Right click your mouse and the page url you are viewing should show.
Then you can copy it and book mark it. Sorry for the trouble.
======================================
