======================================
This Week's Feature: -One More Boat Tale -
http://fishing.about.com/library/weekly/aa980413.htm - I got a
1988 Stratos 181 in June of 1990 and caught my biggest bass ever out of it
- after almost sinking it!
=======================================
Tip of the Week - People who had been catching crappie trolling over
deep water suddenly stopped catching them here in mid-Georgia last week.
They had moved in to the bank. If crappie quit biting over deep water in
the spring and the water is warming, look for them on the bank spawning.
If the fish move, move with them.

Fishtale This Week: Fishing With Ron and Jim
-http://fishing.about.com/library/weekly/bl980413.htm
- I got a chance to fish with two frequent "fishtales" writers and they
beat me bad. Includes a pretty picture!
======================================
Message Boards - My boards don't get much traffic - even with a contest!
Is there something you don't like about them or some other problem? Let me
know.
Every post to the Freshwater Fishing Board - http://fishing.about.com/mpboards.htm - during the week is eligible for a prize. Each Monday I will put every post from one Sunday midnight to the next in a "hat" and draw one as the winner. The winner will be notified by email and posted here. There will be one winner per week.
This contest is, of course, an unabashed attempt to get people to use my boards! The only requirement is that posts must be related to fishing. The board is for fishing info so ask a real question, respond with an answer you know, or post information about a trip you took. They can be original posts or responses to posts. I will use the "Show Post from 1 week" button to select the posts for the contest. All the details and a list of past winners can be found at http://fishing.about.com/library/weekly/blboardcontest.htm
4/12/98 through 4/19/98 - Prize - Lures includie
a Rattle Trap (Donated by Berry's Sporting Goods in Griffin, GA) and a Shadrap.
======================================
Joke for this Week - The following were actual statements made during
court cases:
Judge: I know you, don't I? Defendant: Uh, yes. Judge: All right, tell me,
how do I know you? Defendant: Judge, do I have to tell you? Judge: Of course,
you might be obstructing justice not to tell me. Defendant: Okay. I was your
bookie.
======================================
Thought for the Week - Isn't Disney World a people trap operated by
a mouse?
======================================
Right Click Trick - Having trouble bookmarking a site you find through
The Mining Company because the URL doesn't show? This is a problem with
frames. Right click your mouse and the page url you are viewing should show.
Then you can copy it and book mark it. Sorry for the trouble.
======================================
