Chipola River
Near Marianna, Coosa bass live here.

Choctawhatchee River
From the Alabama line to the gulf, this river has 96 fishable miles. Alligator gar up to 200 pounds are caught here.

Clermont Chain of Lakes

Bay County 5000 acre lake near Panama City, known for shellcrackers.

Lake Dias
Volusia County 711 acre Fish Management Area, has big crappie, or speckled perch.

Drainage Ditches
In many areas roadside ditches are good for bream and bass

Edward Medard Reservoir
Hillsboro County 600 acre phosphate pit lake, gets heavy fishing pressure.

Elgin Field
An area of creeks with natural and manmade ponds are available to the public

Escambia River
Good bream river flowing out of Alabama

Evers Lake
On the Branden River, excellent bass and bream fishing

Fellsmere Reservoir
Also known as Farm 13/Stick Marsh, this 6550 acre lake is good for bass and other species. All bass must be released

Fisheating Creek
Big campground offers access to creek, with good fishing, and Lake Okeechobee 15 miles downstream.

Lake Geneva
1650 acre infertile lake, poor fishing but lots of skies.

Lake George
This 46000 acre natural lake is supposed to be the best bass lake in central Florida.

Lake Griffin
Good crappie fishing, poor bass fishing in this 16,505 acre Lake County lake.

Lake Haney
Seminole County 6,058 acre lake on St. Johns River.

Hanna Park
40 acre Fish Management Area with good campground.
