Frying fish is the most common way to cook them

Here's How:
- Rinse filets and pat dry with paper towel
- Drop filets into sack with 5 parts cornmeal and 1 part flour
- Shake well to coat filets
- Drop filets into hot grease, a deep fryer is prefered
- Cook for five minutes for each inch of thickness
- Remove and drain on paper towels layered on newspaper
- Serve with french fries, hush puppies and cole slaw
Tips:
- Don't over cook fish!
- Check by breaking open filet - if it flakes easily, it is done
