How To Fry Fish

Frying fish is the most common way to cook them
Difficulty: Easy
Time Required: 30 minutes

Here's How:

  1. Rinse filets and pat dry with paper towel
  2. Drop filets into sack with 5 parts cornmeal and 1 part flour
  3. Shake well to coat filets
  4. Drop filets into hot grease, a deep fryer is prefered
  5. Cook for five minutes for each inch of thickness
  6. Remove and drain on paper towels layered on newspaper
  7. Serve with french fries, hush puppies and cole slaw

Tips:

  1. Don't over cook fish!
  2. Check by breaking open filet - if it flakes easily, it is done
