Following are the State Farm-BassFan.com World Rankings as updated after last week's Okeechobee FLW Tour fishing event.

VanDam Hangs On By Just 1.5 Points

Following are the State Farm-BassFan World Rankings as updated after last week's Bassmaster Tour event on Florida's Harris Chain of Lakes. Notable movement:

> The big news is that Kevin VanDam's points lead in the No. 1 slot has shrunk to its lowest ever. After VanDam finished 101st at the Harris Chain and dropped a good finish from 2 years ago, and Alton Jones finished 7th and dropped a worse finish from 2 years ago, just 1.587 points separate the two anglers. Also, less than half a point separates Jones and No. 3 angler Kelly Jordon, who finished 19th at the Harris Chain. All of this means that this week's Bassmaster Tour event on Alabama's Smith Lake will be a big one as far as the World Rankings go.

> Gary Klein and David Dudley remain 4th and 5th.

> Jay Yelas climbs back up one spot to 6th, Tommy Biffle is back in the Top 10 in 7th, Zell Rowland falls from 6th to 8th, Tim Horton is back in the Top 10 at 9th, and John Murray falls to 10th.

> Mark Davis has a rare fall out of the Top 10, and is now ranked 13th.

> Partly because of two good tour finishes in a row, Larry Nixon climbs back up to 16th.

> Brent Chapman, who finished 3rd at the Harris Chain, climbs from 27th to 17th.

> Mike Iaconelli rises 21 places to 47th.

> Harris Chain winner Marty Stone jumps 43 places and is now ranked 84th in the world.
