I bought four of these expensive jerkbaits and the first one I used broke on the second fish I caught. They have great action and flash but are developing a reputation for being fragile. At $25 each they are too expensive to use if they do not hold up any better than this one did. The picture shows the one that broke - the bill is missing.

Ronnie, I had 4 of these and the bills broke on all. I reworked the area where the bill attaches and replaced it with a new one . Since then I have used them with great success,three 4+ & 1- 5 lb smallmouths.
Interesting – did you make your own bill? If so, how? and how did you attach them?

why spend all that hard earned money ,when you can buy Made in America -Luck E Strike RC Stix, that is Rick Clun. These cost about 8 bucks, and come in a large color selection. Pros and Amateurs like me have good success with these tried and true Lures. Happy Fishing .
