As the year ends this is a good time to do as the song "Auld Lang Syne" suggest and remember family and friends. Those of us that love fishing have many influences on our lives, and old acquaintances play an important part of that love. I had many people influence my love of fishing, especially my mother and her brothers. I have great memories of fishing trips with them and I am sure I am what I am now because of them.
