I just had my boat detailed to get ready for the state Top Six and had to take everything out of it. It is amazing how much junk and tackle I haul around! I bet my boat would run ten miles and hour faster without carrying so much extra weight.
As always I planned on sorting out everything before putting it back into the boat. As always, I started out pretty good, putting plugs back in boxes and sacks where they belong and putting the boxes into the right places. Then I hit the big bags of plastics, and as usual, just gave up and filled up a rod locker with them. Then I found three more big bags I had overlooked!

One way to cut down on the rust in stored tackle is to ask your local pharmacy to save the dessicant packs from the large bottles of drugs they use. Mine on request will save them up for a few days and give me a call to stop by. Drop one ot two in a sealed box or bag with lures and the problem is diminished!
