Fishing a topwater lure can be exciting, no matter what kind of fish you are after. Bass, bluegill, hybrids and stripers will all hit lures on top. You can see the hit and that makes it more thrilling, so much so you often jerk the bait away before the fish takes it completely. Try some topwater baits and see what you think. I enjoy fly fishing and wonder if anyone has fished in the Yucaipa Regional Park? Also instead of the standard fly fishing rod is there a rod with a spinder that might work? I have a tendency to get the spinder “balled-up.” Thank you.
