If you want to catch a bunch of crappie, especially in the early spring, learn to troll for them. It can be as simple as drifting a minnow behind the boat or as complex as a spider rig with 16 lines out and two jigs on each one. No matter which way you go, trolling for crappie is fun and efficient.
