I got a chance to go to Alaska and fish for salmon and halibut. I really wanted to catch a Dolly Varden, and several people fishing around me landed them, but I never did. We had very good fishing as you can see in the gallery of pictures from that trip, but it almost ended badly - twice. Bears and eagles almost made it my last trip!
