One of my favorite boats, was one I had to work for a week on just plugging holes so I could use the boat without getting my feet wet. I had the boat about 6 months and was having a very good time in it, fishing a lot of swamp waters in VA Beach. Last time I used the boat, my wife and I hard run up one of the tidal streams. Fishing had been good, bass had been biting. A storm looked to be blowing in so we were running back to the ramp. Some how I got a little out of the channel. Next thing we know we are air borne. We had hit a stump that was just under the surface. This black water you just could not see it. We made minor repair on a fuel line that broke when the motor kicked up. When I put the boat on the trailer, the transom started coming apart from the rest of the boat. I put a rope on it and that held it there. I sold that boat a week later, with rope still attached.
