I chose Kevin Van Dam as Bass Fisherman of the Decade and he started out the new decade by winning the Bassmasters Classic in February, 2010. This win, his third in Bassmasters Classics, emphasizes his ability to find and catch fish under tough conditions and out fish many of his fellow professional bass fishermen,

I agree with you – Kevin Van Dam is indeed the best bass fisherman on the planet. Not only did he win the 2010 Bass Master Classic (for the third time), he was Bassmaster Angler of the Year for 2009, for the FIFTH year in a row! He can think like a bass, he knows where the fish are and what they will eat.
Long time bass fishing legend Hank Parker says, “he’s the best I’ve ever seen”.
