Lure Retrievers - Worth Their Weight in Crankbaits

Friday August 28, 2009
If you fish a crankbait you will get it hung too deep to reach. Crankbaits are expensive, and if you find one that seems "lucky" and catches fish better than other similar baits you do not want to lose it. Short of stripping and jumping in to get it back, what can you do?

You can buy or make a plug knocker or lure retriever that will get most of your plugs back and save you money. Here is how I made one that works well for me.
