How To Win A Bass Tournament From Your Living Room - Competitive Fishing Online

Wednesday August 19, 2009
Do you wish you could compete in fishing tournaments but they just don't fit your schedule? Jim Shepherd shows how you can compete by joining in on a new online competition. Sounds like and interesting concept but I am afraid it leaves out a major component of competitive fishing - the socializing that goes on before and after a tournament.

Both before and after tournaments competitors get together to eat, tell tall tales in the morning and brag or hang their heads in the afternoons and generally share the good times. It always surprises me how many people get to the boat ramp two or more hours before take off time, just to talk, it seems. And in the afternoons many hang around several hours after the last fish is weighed to recap the day and try to get information about how the fish were caught.

I think most anglers fishing tournaments are there more to socialize than to try to actually win. Do you fish tournaments? What do you think? Share your thoughts in the comments section below.

while on-line tournaments do not provide the phsical camaraderies that goes on at such events, if the website has a strong community network there is the same feel for the competition snd jocularity, except all this happens on-line. Bountyfishing.com is such a website. try it!
