New World Record Bass Caught In Japan?

Has a new world record bass been caught in Japan? Claims are that a 22 pound, 5 ounce largemouth was landed in Lake Biwa on Thursday, July 2. If it is certified at that weight the International Game Fish Association will certify it as a tie. It is a huge fish.
