Ice Fishing The Vermont Fish and Wildlfe Department offers some wise tips to stay safe while ice fishing. This is a good time to think about safety and make sure you don't end up stranded or in the waer, it can be a matter of life or death.

Last weekend on one of our more popular ice fishing destinations in NW Indiana a guy fell through. He was rescued after the guys fishing around him saw him go in, showing the importance of being close enough to be seen or heard. Also someone was carrying a rope, which may have been a life saver.
