Big Catfish, False Claims

This picture of a big catfish has been making the rounds. The picture of the big catfish to the right has been making the rounds on the internet with claims it was caught on many different lakes. Truth is, it is probaby a Wels cat from Europe. Click on the picture for some pictures of real cats caught in the US.

Whew!,
I can’t imagine the guy who “noodled” this catfish. For those of you not familiar with “noodlin”, it’s a wrestling technique used by southern catfish experts where they wrestle the catfish from logs and cover!
