Save Gas Fishing

Tuesday July 22, 2008
Can you save gas and still go fishing? According to a recent survey by AnglerSurvey.com high gas prices are causing anglers to cut back on their fishing plans. And as the price of gas went up sharply in the last two years the number of anglers saying they will cut back in fishing trips has gone up since last summer.
There are ways to keep your gas cost down and still go fishing. Here are some of my suggestions. Add yours in the comments section below

Nice article on saving gas. You may also want to consider a smaller towing rig if your into the market for a new vehicle. Many smaller 8 cylinders or bigger 6 cylinders can greatly improve your gas mileage. Also make sure your trailer and vehicle tires are at the correct air pressure as this can save gas as well :)

Great suggestion - I will add it to my list. Also, keep your boat and tow vehicle motors tuned for best performance.
