Inactive Winter Bass

Wednesday February 6, 2008
Catching bass in the winter is tough. I have a rule of thumb about water temperatures. If the temperature is above 50 degrees F I am confident I can catch bass. If it is between 45 and 50 my hope fades but I think I might get lucky and catch one. If the water temperature is below 45 I don't have much hope at all.
