Jack Schmitt and Drop Shot Bass

I like a TTI Standout Hook for drop shot rigs but Jack prefers a smaller hook - you can see it in the picture. For years I used a #1 bass worm hook on my drop shot rigs but the hooks made for drop shotting are better. I have also started using sinkers made for drop shotting rather than just pegging a bullet sinker. The leads made for it are more expensive but much easier to use.
