Almost Fishing The Bassmasters Classic
Its the day before the Bassmasters Classic and the fishermen can finally get back on the lake for one last day of practice. Imagine sitting around your room for four days going through your game plan in your head, getting equipment ready and worrying about how you will do. There are lots of events to occupy some of your time but there are many long hours to worry.
The pros are used to this but how would an amateur feel. They don't have the past experience of such big tournaments to go by and they have got to be nervous. I sometimes wonder how I would have handled it if I hade made it back in 1983 when I almost qualified. My article about almost making it has a link to some good information about how the Federation fishermen deal with this tournament, and also profiles of all the 50 fishermen that qualified.
