Fishing Your Time Away

Fresh and salt water intermingle in this crinkled cowlick of an inlet. So do a bunch of regulars on the pier above who measure out their days in chunks of mornings and afternoons, whose lives revolve around the tides much like the moon orbits the Earth and who, for the most part, know each other only by first names.
