AMERICAN RIVER - Salmon fishing was red-hot some evenings last week around the 12th Street/Highway 160 bridge, with waves of mostly bright fish moving upstream.

this year 2007 oct. is gonna be sweet cause them ole salmon are heading up here.last year I went fishing with me mothers friend [remember i was 12 when it occured] David and he caught a salmon about 6 pounds and then when i was on my trip i was at a contest with him.I said ‘who ever catches the most fish wins the meat’. And I won and the score was BM.2 D.1
and the secret on how i got em salmon was a special rig David show me.
requires 2 0=0 swiveles if u know wat i mean,
and 2 clip swivels, a lead weight about 2 pounds or less with a hole on the top,glow in the dark beads,15 pound line in estimate,eagleclaw hooks,and your tightest fishing knot. first put a clip swivel on your slack o line.put your clip on swivel part on the 0 side and slip it though the clip side and
put the lead wieghts hole through the
secound clip swivel and clip it shut.
and put your 0=0 swivel on the first one
and clip on shut and give the 0=0 on the
right side were the empty 0 is some line about 2-4 feet long and slip your GITD bead on and tie the hook real well so it wont come off. any problems email me it misterpirate777@sbcglobal.net
